Reset a user PIN or Password using the CFE
Use this to:
- Reset a phone PIN
- Reset a user password on the phone system where users are not linked to the computer LDAP directory.
If your phone system is synchronised to your directory (such as Microsoft Active Directory) then use that system to reset the password. Otherwise, to reset the PIN or Password:
- Go to the Modify User page
- Search for the user
- Click the Edit link next to the user
- Click Modify User Profile button
- Click either Reset PIN or Reset Password button
- Enter the new PIN or Password in the pop-up box, repeat it and click Go
